Internship

The San Francisco Great Streets Project is looking for an intern to help with research, tools and events. You will work directly with the project director to develop best practices tools, outreach materials, fascinating events and other items as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong interest in livable streets practices and multi-media outreach who wants to get a better understanding of how to institutionalize livable streets practices in a major city, or just get a feel for the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Creation and distribution of regular best practices tools
  • Manage development and distribution of interviews of far-flung experts
  • Help plan and execute local events
  • Help measure demonstration projects, including informing the selection of measurement tools
  • Help keep our communications materials current, including our Web site and print materials
